Do you have a picture book manuscript?
Congratulations, you did it!
You’re in the right place if you’re looking to get it submission-ready.
Why me? Besides being a published author of several picture books, I’ve been associated with children’s literature for over 15 years as a picture book reviewer , an early literacy educator, and as an active member of multiple critique groups. I continue to work with an editorial agent, fabulous editors, and many published and pre-published writers in my journey. Additionally, I was a judge for Rate Your Story and had the opportunity to critique several picture book manuscripts every month.
Meera is a wise and generous reader. Her critiques of my writing always help me sharpen my skills. But, above all, she cares about story telling, and that care shines through her feedback. I am so grateful to get to work with her! – Alex Giardino, author of the picture books “Ode to an Onion”, “The Good Song”, and “Me + Tree”
I worked with Meera for the first time when I was selected for a critique through PBChat. Meera’s critique was thorough, insightful and helped me elevate my story to a whole new level. I reached out to her again a few months later to help me with my submission package. She critiqued manuscripts and query letters in a timely and detailed manner. She is positive and makes you feel very confident about your work, but also pushes you to get it to the best level that it can be. I can’t recommend Meera enough! – Anushi Mehta
I can’t thank you enough for your comprehensive and thoughtful critique; truly the best critique I’ve ever received. Your line edits make so much sense and your big picture analysis really opened my eyes to what the plot should look like. I’m excited to begin revising with your insights in mind. – Sara V
